Hope I described it in detail, you can use it any where in the world. Various satellites are providing Internet Services. Detail of some are here, more detail you can get from Lyngsat or from google.

Hi Ko heinlynn , as Shelly said that we can get many satellite via internet.Like AS 3 , 4 , JCSat , Agila . So , if u have Pc-Dvb card should try it ASAP.

I have never used satellite internet in any form before.

I have downloaded all the software that you mentioned in post 15. What next, where do I begin. Kindly explain what each of the software was suppose to do? Also an example of how to configure a usable setup would be helpful. A detailed step by step tutorial will be really great.

Dear anishpsla you are from INDIA my friend, and at NSS6 dish tv is available, there is a channel CGN TV at frequency 11090. At this freq. with pid 4144 Internet is also available and that is of Indian.

The softwares like Wingate are freely available all over the internet. Even Technisat CD have some softwares. But the question is how you are going to connect to that satellite ISP without paying them money? Will they freely send the file which you wanted? You are telling FREE INTERNET but how can we surf the internet free as you told?

Dialup is there, but what is the Satellite ISP's server address/proxy address? Without that how are you expecting to get the files which we want?

Wingate is available, but the version I uploaded will only work, not others.
we will use free Internet very easily, as we were watching channels at hotbird, without paying money.

There are three types of satellite downlinks. Ip based, Proxy based and VPN based. I told the method of only IP Based Packages.
As Ip based Internet just requires: (Uplink like dialup or DSL)

1. Signals of satellite (We can get by proper alignment of Dish)

2. IP Address
3. Mac Address of DVB (At which package is active)
4. PID

For the scanning of the above three, only by my softwares.

By the way dear, Iam sure that you have no knowledge about satellite downlinks, so, its not easy for you to do so, but if a person having knowledge about satellite downlinks, will take only 5 to 10 minutes.

Ok lets assume I don't have any knowledge about satellite downlinks. Can you tell me how you are going to download the file you want? Say if I set my dish to Nss and tune to CGN and also the correct PID. Now how the hell I am going to get the file through it? Unless other wise I connect with the ISP which uploads data to the satellite I am not going to get anything. I need to pay to that satellite ISP eg.Gascom if I want an satellite internet connection. Until then I can only grab data which others download which offcourse they pay to that ISP. BTW how are you going to get the Number 2 point of yours (IP address)?

by the way liveInet is used to grab the data, but while grabbing, it also copy all the sources in a file named fileinfo. From that file you can get the details . By the way the data at Gascom is too nice, soon .
